Recital Information
Once you do a recital with Kids Dance Center, you won't want to do it any other way!
We hold two recitals/performances annually. We feature a 1 hour recital format twice a year for ALL dancers over 2 years. These formal Recitals happen in May and December. Recitals are optional but almost 100% of our dancers choose to attend because they are so FUN!.
Our 2026 Spring Recitals will be on May 30, 2026. Recital participants should watch your email for specific details about your child’s show during recital season! Recitals are our BIG showcases where your dancer gets to show off the skills they have learned all season.
Our 2026 Spring Recital will be held at the Texas State University PAC.
Costumes are required for recitals! More show details will be sent via email and also included with costumes. If you are not participating, please let us know before March 15th! Full Recital fees are usually around $160 per dancer and include their costume, a professional video and hundreds of candid backstage pictures taken by our professional photographer. There is no added costume fee. Two tickets are included with each recital fee. You can purchase additional tickets for $10 each on your parent portal during recital season and $15 at the door on the day of the event.

All Showtimes are for Saturday, May 30th, 2026
All classes are listed by the day your child attends class. Please look for your class day, then the class your dancer takes to find your showtime on March 15, 2026.
If you are in multiple classes, or if you have multiple dancers, you may have multiple showtimes.
**All Dancers should arrive at least 15 minutes before their showtime.**

Spring Break Acro Camp
Get ready to run away to the circus—no suitcase required! It’s going to be a week of soaring high and tumbling low as we combine the magic of the circus with the strength of acro dance. From mastering new tricks to learning "big top" choreography, your dancer will build confidence, flexibility, and friendships. NO experience necessary!
